You will support the maintenance and management of medical equipment in a clinical environment, contributing to the safe and effective operation of healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on a range of medical devices in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Support repair and troubleshooting activities on biomedical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Accurately complete service documentation using the internal asset management system.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and inventory in accordance with internal procedures and industry regulations.
• Work collaboratively with clinical staff and third-party engineers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Travel may occasionally be required within the region to support other clinical sites.

Candidate Profile

Essential:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Medical Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of engineering principles related to the maintenance and servicing of medical equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel).
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in documentation and reporting.

Desirable:

• Experience working in a healthcare environment.
• Awareness of medical device safety standards and compliance regulations.
• Exposure to medical equipment servicing during academic study or placement year.

Additional Requirements

• An Enhanced DBS Disclosure will be required prior to employment.
