A leading law firm in Manchester seeks a solicitor with 0-2 years PQE for its SHE Regulatory Department. The role involves engaging in complex legal cases related to Health and Safety and Environmental law, providing a chance to develop expertise in a dynamic legal field with a strong commitment to client service.
We are looking for a solicitor (0 - 2 years PQE) to join our specialist Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Regulatory Department in the Manchester office.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team within our multi-award-winning firm. The role is based in Manchester and involves regular communication with clients nationwide. We offer a collaborative, supportive environment in a modern, flexible workspace.
We welcome candidates with experience in representing clients involved in investigations and prosecutions related to Health & Safety, Food Safety, Fire Safety, Motor Prosecutions, and Environmental Crime, who are interested in pursuing a career in Regulatory Crime. We provide ongoing training and development.
Our PQE levels are guidelines; all suitable candidates will be considered.
This role offers the chance to work for a top 20 international law firm with one of the UK's largest SHE departments, recognized by Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500 for Health & Safety and Environmental law.
As part of our close-knit team, you will have the opportunity to become a specialist in this dynamic area of law, handling a varied and sometimes high-profile caseload. You will practice criminal defense within a corporate environment.
Our lawyers serve national clients, including corporate and insurer-backed entities. You will be involved in cases from investigation through enforcement to court resolution, including corporate manslaughter, health and safety prosecutions, and environmental crimes. Due to the nature of our work, you will also gain experience in representing clients before the Coroners Court.
