A leading law firm in Birmingham is seeking a motivated solicitor with 0-2 years PQE to join their expanding Safety, Health & Environment Regulatory Department. This role involves a range of responsibilities, including client communication, high-profile cases, and ongoing training. We are looking for a solicitor (0 - 2 years PQE) to join our specialist Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Regulatory Department in our Birmingham office.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team within our multi-award-winning firm. The role is based in Birmingham and involves regular communication with clients nationwide. We offer a collaborative, supportive environment in a modern, flexible workplace.
We will consider candidates with experience in representing clients in investigations and prosecutions related to Health & Safety, Food Safety, Fire Safety, Motor Prosecutions, and Environmental Crime who are interested in a career in Regulatory Crime. We provide ongoing training and development.
Please note that our PQE levels are guidelines; all suitable candidates will be considered.

As part of our close-knit team, you will have the chance to become a specialist in this dynamic area of law, working on a varied and sometimes high-profile caseload. You will practice criminal defense in a corporate environment.
Our lawyers provide national coverage for corporate and insurer-backed clients. You will join a team of 16 fee earners managing cases from investigation through enforcement to court resolution. Typical cases include corporate manslaughter, health and safety prosecutions, and environmental crimes. Due to the nature of our work, you will also gain experience before the Coroners Court.
