Job Description:

Artemis Human Capital is delighted to introduce this newly created position to the market. Working with an established and growing NI-based company, known as a market leader in their sector, we are seeking to appoint a Junior Assistant Management Accountant.

Are you a recent finance graduate or an early-career finance professional looking to build your skills in management accounting? Do you have some experience in accounts and a drive to develop your career within a high-performing finance team? This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive industry environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assisting with month-end close procedures
  • Managing company credit card reconciliations and related postings
  • Handling petty cash transactions and reconciliations
  • Processing employee expense claims
  • Supporting inter-company account recharges
  • Preparing financial reports for key stakeholders
  • Assisting with VAT & Intrastat returns and filings
  • Playing an active role in business improvement initiatives
  • Supporting the annual external audit process
  • Gaining hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Invoicing & Accounts Receivable

What We're Looking For:

  • 1+ years experience in an accounts department (or strong internship/work placement)
  • Working towards AAT or equivalent accounting qualification
  • Strong team player with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with good IT & Excel skills
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work independently
  • A proactive approach with a drive to learn and grow
