Overview: We are working with a leading provider of Audio Visual (AV) solutions for both residential and commercial sectors, based in London. We are seeking a Junior/Assistant AV Project Manager to join their growing team. As a Junior/Assistant AV Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of AV projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the AV sector, working with both residential clients and commercial businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Coordination & Support:
    Assist in managing multiple AV projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
    Coordinate project logistics, including scheduling, procurement, and resource allocation.
    Support senior project managers in preparing project documentation, such as contracts, budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
    Liaise with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of project milestones.
  2. Client Communication & Relationship Management:
    Maintain effective communication with clients, ensuring they are updated on project status, timelines, and any potential changes.
    Support senior project managers in addressing client queries and providing technical explanations of AV systems and solutions.
    Ensure that all client requirements are captured and followed through during the project lifecycle.
  3. Documentation & Reporting:
    Assist in the preparation of project documentation and reports, including technical drawings, installation manuals, and handover documentation.
    Maintain accurate records of project expenses, changes, and progress to ensure projects are delivered within scope and budget.
    Support the completion of post-project reviews and assist in compiling feedback from clients.

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:
Strong interest in Audio Visual technology and systems.
Some experience in project coordination, administration, or AV installation (through previous roles, internships, or education).
Basic understanding of AV equipment, systems, and installations (e.g., audio systems, video conferencing, control systems).
Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Desirable:
Experience working in the AV or construction industries in a project coordination or support role.
Familiarity with AV industry standards and best practices.
A basic understanding of electrical systems and technical drawings.
A proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
