Job summary

OXBO is seeking a Junior Asset Manager to support the management of its operational renewable energy and BESS portfolio in the UK. The role offers exposure to technical, commercial and financial aspects of asset management and a chance to develop within a growing investment-led business.

You will work on monitoring performance, coordinating with O&M providers, and assisting in contract management while building relationships with investors and grid operators.

We’re working with a growing clean energy investment fund that’s expanding its UK operations and looking to appoint a Junior Asset Manager to support the management of its operational renewable energy and BESS portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience across the technical, commercial and financial aspects of renewable energy asset management.

The role

You’ll be responsible for supporting the management of operational assets, including Solar PV, Onshore Wind and BESS projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring the technical and commercial performance of operational assets.
• Working with O&M providers, contractors and external service providers.
• Supporting the management of commercial contracts and supplier relationships.
• Monitoring asset performance, budgets, risks and opportunities.
• Building relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, landowners and grid companies.
• Identifying opportunities to improve asset performance and maximise long-term value.
• Supporting acquisitions, due diligence and the integration of new assets into the portfolio.

About you

We’re looking for someone with 3+ years’ experience in renewable energy and/or BESS asset management, who is keen to develop their skills within a growing investment-led business.

You’ll ideally have:

• An understanding of renewable energy projects and their operational lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and commercial skills.
• Experience working with contractors, suppliers or other external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach and a willingness to learn.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Electrical engineering or MV/HV experience would be beneficial, but is not essential.
