Job summary

Dexters is seeking a junior designer to work with our artwork team and the in-house marketing department. The role suits someone with strong knowledge of the artwork process and a collaborative mindset, able to take briefs and develop them into high-quality visuals.

You will prepare artworks for print and digital use across the Dexters Group (25 brands), create layouts, update marketing materials, and contribute fresh ideas for brand campaigns.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
• Understanding of print production specs (bleed, CMYK, resolution).
• Ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce artwork for print production and digital media.
• Create and edit video material using After Effects.
• Develop marketing materials such as brochures and forms.
• Contribute ideas for brand campaigns.

Job description

This is a junior position to work alongside our artwork team, as well as collaboratively within the in-house marketing department. Ideal for someone with good knowledge of the artwork process. The role would suit a team player, responsible for taking briefs and requests and developing them into full visual layouts, as well as preparing artworks for print and digital use across the Dexters Group (25 brands).

Hours

Monday - Friday 8.30 - 17.30 (In office)

Key Responsibilities

• Produce artwork for print production/digital media use
• Able to create and edit video material using Adobe After Effects
• Create & update marketing materials (Property brochures, direct mail, forms)
• Contribute creative ideas for brand campaigns
• Design digital elements, including GIF's for use on websites & social media
• Produce bespoke signage such as boards, hoarding and vinyls
• Various rebrand projects e.g new business acquisitions

Key Requirements

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, in particular InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
• Understanding of technical specifications like bleeds, resolution, file formats, and colour modes (CMYK/RGB)
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, keeping to deadlines
• Team player, who is confident working both independently and collaboratively
• Support the wider artwork team where required
