Location: Wakefield
Salary: £26-28,000 DOE

A respected architectural practice is looking to add Junior and Graduate Architectural Technologists to its team. Specialising in care sector design—including care homes, supported living, and dementia-friendly environments—the practice is known for delivering thoughtful, high-quality solutions tailored to complex user needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on meaningful projects that positively impact people's lives. Daily Duties:
  • Assisting with the development of design and technical drawing packages
  • Supporting planning and building regulations submissions
  • Producing detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Collaborating with consultants and other stakeholders
  • Participating in site visits, surveys, and on-site coordination
  • Gaining exposure to dementia-friendly and inclusive design practices
Ideal Candidate:
  • Recently qualified or early-career Architectural Technologist (degree, HNC, or HND level)
  • Competent in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit is highly desirable
  • Interested in healthcare, inclusive, or care sector design
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Detail-oriented and eager to learn
  • Based in or able to commute to Wakefield
