Accept Recruitment is recruiting for a Junior Applications Engineer in Coventry. You will act as the technical point of contact for customers, manage your own projects from enquiry through to delivery, and perform basic engineering calculations and product selections.

Training will be provided to support growth in this early-career role. The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree (or similar); strong communication skills, organisation, and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualificações

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; recent graduates welcome.
• Confident communicator with customers; able to manage own workload and projects.

Junior Applications Engineer

Location: Coventry

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 + benefits

Hours: 37 per week – Monday to Thursday 8:00–16:30, Friday 8:00–13:00

The company

Our client is a long-established Coventry engineering manufacturer, designing and building precision products for customers in the UK and around the world. They are growing their engineering team and need a Junior Applications Engineer. The role would suit a strong graduate who is keen to get stuck in.

The role

• Act as a technical point of contact for customers, understanding their requirements and recommending the right product
• Manage your own projects from enquiry through to delivery
• Carry out product selection and basic engineering calculations
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and supporting documentation
• Work closely with design, production and sales to make sure customer needs are met
• Pass customer special requests and product feedback to the design team

About you

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar; recent graduates are welcome
• Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with customers
• Organised and able to manage your own workload and projects
• Willing to learn and get stuck in
• Desirable: transmission or driveline experience, a manufacturing background, SolidWorks or other 3D CAD
