The New Year will be bringing a number of exciting career opportunities for Structural Engineers and Technicians with experience in building structures and structural design who are looking to further their professional development, attain promotion, or improve earnings.

We have a number of roles across the South West, in Exeter, Cornwall, Plymouth, Swansea, Cardiff, Somerset and London – perfect for someone with:

  • At least two years of post‑graduate experience in a UK consultancy environment
  • A civil or structural engineering degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working on building structures, with residential and/or commercial sector awareness
  • Structural design and analysis experience using industry‑standard software (e.g. CAD, Revit, Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds or similar)
  • Familiarity with UK design codes and standards, and experience producing calculations and technical drawings

And for the more senior engineers and technicians…

  • Chartered status or working towards (ICE / IStructE or equivalent)
  • Experience overseeing projects and contributing to technical delivery
  • Confidence mentoring junior staff and supporting team development
  • Experience liaising with clients, architects, contractors and other stakeholders
