North Wind Capital is a UK-based asset manager with a European presence, delivering superior risk-adjusted returns through thematic investing.

We implement four thematic investment strategies: prime residential development, hospitality, private credit, and special situations—to create long-term value.

Our experienced team, network and operating partners excel at identifying and structuring opportunities in overlooked and undervalued assets.

The successful candidate will work alongside our Associate, Partner, VP and Head of Investment working on our vast and diverse portfolio. Someone with a background in accounting would be strongly preferred also. We would like someone to embrace a challenge and thrive in a fast-paced environment whilst wanting to contribute to exciting new projects.

We are a small, diverse and multinational team with aligned values of integrity who have an approach which benefits from a range of perspectives which we utilise to deliver value for our investors.

Responsibilities will include:
  1. Prepare weekly pipeline reports and trackers for senior management with projections for dispositions and acquisitions.
  2. Financial modelling of potential acquisitions, financings and asset management initiatives.
  3. Management of due diligence, working closely with internal legal counsel.
  4. Reviewing and summarising output from internal and external professionals including legal documentation, valuations, financial and tax due diligence and structuring.
  5. Management of internal approval memos and processes.
  6. Preparation of investor reporting materials.
  7. Support the senior members of staff across the full spectrum of investing activity.
Requirements and skills:
  1. Strong reporting and analytical skills.
  2. Accounting background strongly preferred, but not essential.
  3. Be able to create tables, spreadsheets, charts, structure charts, project timelines, budgets in very tight turnaround.
  4. 1-3 years of relevant work experience in accounting, asset management either/or financial services business or bank focused on commercial real estate or potentially real estate private equity.
  5. Excel modelling skills (including creating levered and unlevered models from scratch).
  6. Bachelor's Degree from a top university (Master’s Degree Highly preferable).
  7. Strong time management and critical thinking skills, especially under pressure.
  8. Be resilient and be able to take things in your stride.
  9. Excellent attention to detail (especially needed for the asset management duties).
  10. Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  11. Right to work in the UK.
