Mission:To take action and lead the development on future aircraft design methodologies while applying current knowledge to aid on the development of current solutions.

What will be your responsibilities:

  • Adherence to product configuration rules.
  • Contribute towards the creation of project reports and any other relevant certification documentation.
  • Ensure the compliance with project requirements and quality processes.
  • Investigation of new methodologies to apply to Aircraft Design;
  • Creation of design algorithms applied to UAVs;
  • Implement and standardize aircraft design loops within the company;
  • Contribute towards structural and aerodynamic solutions;
  • Develop and maintain the TekAero framework API;
  • Identify issues and propose/develop improvements to meet established requirements, targets, or to solve problems.
  • Provide work estimates and projections Alert to potential problems, deviations and needs.
  • Reduce overall costs by applying a lean philosophy to processes and choice of design solutions.

Profile and requirements:

  • Academic background in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics, Mechanics or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with CAD software (CATIA, Siemens Nx, Solidworks), MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or similar tools.
  • Basic knowledge of OOP (Object Oriented Programming) and Python.
  • Some experience in the development of components/products.
  • Good knowledge of aircraft design underlying concepts;
  • Fluent in English.
  • Good interpersonal skills to work within a diverse team, in rigorous and demanding projects, where analytical and critical thinking, as well as problem-solving skills are essential.
  • High Fidelity CFD and/or Structural Mechanics Experience (optional).
