Job summary

Neuberger is hiring a Junior AI Software Engineer to join the Fixed Income Technology team in a hybrid London setting. You will design, develop, and deploy AI-powered capabilities that drive business impact and work with stakeholders, engineering, and data teams to build scalable, production-grade AI systems.

The ideal candidate has a CS/ML degree and 1–2+ years’ production AI experience, with strong Python and AI framework skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/ML or related quantitative field.
• 1–2+ years of professional software development or production AI experience.
• Proficiency in Python and AI/agentic frameworks such as FastAPI/Flask.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end AI-powered data ingestion and modeling pipelines.
• Integrate dashboards and LLMs into product features with prompt engineering.
• Write clean, tested, well-documented code following best practices.
• Collaborate with FI business users to design agentic workflows and APIs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing production AI applications.
• Stay current with AI/ML research and evaluate new tools.
