Job summary

Linked HR in Birmingham is seeking a Junior AI Developer to help design, develop and deliver AI solutions for clients across sectors. You will work with seasoned consultants, building practical AI applications and gaining hands-on experience in a real-world environment.

You don’t need years of experience—recent graduates in AI, ML, CS or Data Science are encouraged to apply. The role offers home working with occasional office visits in Birmingham and clear opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate in AI, ML, CS, Data Science or related field.
• Solid understanding of core AI concepts and ML.
• Demonstrable experience using Git, Python and SQL in projects.
• Experience with AI or ML outside coursework is a plus.
• Curious, proactive and able to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Understand client challenges and identify AI opportunities.
• Research and evaluate emerging AI/ML technologies.
• Design AI solutions from idea to implementation with data protection in mind.
• Build prototypes, proofs of concept and demos.
• Work with Python, APIs, data and generative AI tools.
• Assist with prompt engineering and AI workflows.
• Analyze data to assess AI solution performance.
• Support workshops and present findings clearly.
• Document approaches and learn from senior consultants.
