Job summary

Red Bull Technology in Milton Keynes is seeking a Junior Aerodynamics Performance Engineer to join our Formula One program. You will push aero performance using CFD, wind tunnel data, and track feedback to extract numerical gains and drive vehicle efficiency.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into curbside car design changes, ensuring compliance with F1 regulations while supporting testing, reporting, and innovation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics and fluid dynamics.

As a Junior Aerodynamics Performance Engineer, you will play a vital role in the development of our Formula One car.

Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing aerodynamic performance, utilizing CFD, wind tunnel, and track data.

Working collaboratively with other engineering groups, you will translate your insights into tangible performance gains, contributing to our team's success on the track.

We’re looking for someone who can:

• Analyse track and test data to identify performance gains and development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with F1 regulations while supporting testing, reporting, and innovation

The successful candidate will have:

• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics and fluid dynamics principles.
• Experience with CFD, wind tunnel testing, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and motivated, with a passion for Formula One.
