Job summary

Unum is seeking a motivated actuarial trainee to support a range of actuarial activities and analyses. You will learn how actuarial insights drive business performance, risk management and decision-making.

Work closely with Finance and Risk, progress toward professional qualifications, and gain exposure to Solvency II frameworks while developing your technical skills in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Degree in a numerate subject with 2:1 or above.
• Strong academic record including A-Level Mathematics or equivalent.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of actuarial activities, analyses and projects.
• Develop understanding of how actuarial insights support business performance and risk management.
