Job summary

Places Leisure is hiring a Junior Activity Instructor to run fun, interactive activities for children at our centres and to lead parties and holiday sessions. You will help maximise centre usage while ensuring memorable experiences for customers and families.

You should bring an outgoing personality and, ideally, some experience with children or strong customer-service background. A flexible attitude helps with short-notice party coverage and varied shifts.

• Outgoing, friendly manner suitable for interacting with children and families.
• Experience in customer service is advantageous for front-of-house roles.
• Ability to adapt to changing schedule and short-notice party coverage is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive activities for children at our centres and parties.
• Plan and run dryside courses, holiday activities, and sessions to maximise centre use and enjoyment.
• Cover parties at short notice when required and uphold safeguarding policies.

It will be your responsibility to help run fun, interactive and memorable activities for children at our centres. Junior Activity Instructors lead dryside courses, parties, holiday activities and sessions and come up with innovative ideas to both maximise use of the centre, and maximise the fun had by our customers.

More About You

You will have an outgoing manner and it would be preferable to have experience of working with children however, experience in a previous role where customer service was your main focus would be extremely beneficial for this role. Party Hosts will need to have buckets of energy and enthusiasm but most importantly you will have need a flexible attitude to work due to the need to cover parties sometimes at short notice.
