A national multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to recruit a Junior Acoustics Consultant to work from their office in the Midlands.

My client is an established world leader in engineering services across a variety of projects including infrastructure, highways projects and residential developments.

Responsibilities
  • Undertaking acoustic measurements, surveys and assessments.
  • Writing technical reports.
  • Supporting senior staff.
  • Liaising between internal and external contacts.
  • Maintaining commercial awareness of market and organization.
  • Project administration.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a BSc in Acoustics or environmentally focused discipline.
  • At least one year working experience in Acoustics, Noise and Vibration.
  • Institute of Acoustics associate membership.
  • Full Driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Knowledge of working guidelines and policies affecting the acoustics market.
  • Familiarity with noise measurement procedures and legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A team orientated attitude.
  • The ability to work on own initiative.
