Job summary

Focusrite plc, part of a global music and audio group, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst in High Wycombe. This entry-level role suits a recent graduate or early-career candidate with an interest in finance and customer service.

Full training will cover internal processes, reconciliations, and month-end routines. You will support sales ledger activities, cash allocation, and documentation to ensure accurate customer accounts and timely collections.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers and internal teams.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office tools.
• Organised, reliable and able to manage daily tasks within deadlines.
• Willingness to learn finance systems, reconciliations, credit control and month-end processes.
• Suitable for a recent graduate or early-career candidate seeking finance.
• Experience in Accounts Receivable, Sales Ledger, Credit Control or related role is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Post and allocate customer receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with daily and weekly bank reconciliations relating to customer payments.
• Maintain customer account records and keep the sales ledger clean and up to date.
• Send customer statements, copy invoices and payment reminders as required.
• Support the Accounts Receivable Supervisor with aged debt follow-up and cash collection.
• Investigate customer account queries and liaise with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Assist with e-commerce and payment platform reconciliations, including fees and refunds.
• Support month-end routines with schedules, reconciliations and supporting evidence.
• Maintain documentation for audit readiness and internal controls.
• Follow defined finance processes and escalate as needed.
