We’re working with a purpose-driven sustainable fashion brand based in London that’s looking for a talented Junior Accountant / Credit Controller to join their growing finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid accounting foundation and a passion for ethical, environmentally conscious business.

You’ll play a key role in managing the company’s day-to-day financials and customer accounts, ensuring smooth financial operations while supporting a brand that’s redefining fashion for the better.

The role:

  • Maintain accurate financial records using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Process supplier invoices, customer payments, and daily banking activities
  • Perform bank reconciliations and support the month-end close
  • Monitor aged debtors and chase outstanding payments professionally
  • Work with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment or billing issues
  • Assist in preparing VAT returns and ensuring HMRC compliance
  • Support wider financial reporting and cashflow forecasting

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in an accounting or credit control role
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Experience in the fashion, retail, or consumer goods sector preferred
  • Genuine interest in sustainability and ethical business
  • Proficient in Excel and financial systems
  • AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (advantageous)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
