Qualifications

• At least 1 year's experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Knowledge of VAT preparation.
• Confident working remotely and UK based.

Responsibilities

• Perform general bookkeeping duties and VAT preparation.
• Prepare accounts to trial balance and production.
• Liaise with clients and the team.

Skills

VAT preparation experience

We're now looking for a Junior Accountant to join our friendly and growing team. We offer full study support towards AAT, ACCA, or other relevant qualifications. You'll gain hands-on experience and play a key part in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Role Description

• General bookkeeping duties and VAT preparation
• Accounts to trial balance
• Bring accounts up to Trial Balance
• Accounts Production (with training provided)
• Corporation tax and self assessment returns (with training provided)
• Payroll (training provided)
• Liaising with clients and the team

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year's experience in a UK accountancy practice
• VAT preparation experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Xero or QuickBooks (advantageous)
• Studying or planning to study AAT, ACCA or ACA
• Good knowledge of Microsoft office incl. Excel
• UK Based and confident working remotely
