Job Responsibilities
- Create and send the monthly work in progress (WIP) form for revenue.
- Handle company VAT return submissions.
- Manage HMRC communications.
- Conduct management system analysis.
- Review debtors and creditors.
- Calculate accruals and prepayments.
- Calculate fixed assets.
- Review the profit and loss ledger, balance sheet.
- Create and complete financial results documents, including monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and other relevant graphs and charts.
- Discuss issues or questions with senior management to finalize accounts for external accountants.
- Query and follow up on invoicing with project managers.
- Escalate unresolved queries to senior managers and directors.
- Assist with the overall finance functions within the business.
- Develop and improve systems and procedures within the finance department.
