The Team

The U.K. & Ireland are our domestic and most mature markets. Functions include commercial, operations, and marketing. Teams in the UK&I work closely with global functions such as product, technology, and consumer to deliver results for our customers.

The Greater London team manages relationships between Deliveroo and our mid-market restaurant partners in the London metropolitan area, including Greenwich, Dulwich, Croydon, and Kingston. The team aims to bring the best possible restaurant selection to all customers in the region.

Please note: A valid driving license and a car are beneficial for this role, as travel within Greenwich, Dulwich, Croydon, and Kingston is expected. However, this isn't mandatory if you're comfortable with travel.

This role involves significant travel and outdoor work, so comfort with being out on the road is essential.

The Role

We are seeking Account Managers to join our Greater London team. This is a unique opportunity to be a vital part of a rapidly growing, well-funded startup. You will liaise with top restaurants across the London Metropolitan Area to strengthen existing relationships and increase their online sales. This role suits a commercial, outgoing individual who enjoys building and maintaining relationships.

What you’ll be doing

  • Maintaining and growing relationships with Deliveroo’s top UK restaurant partners through effective communication, both in person and remotely.
  • Driving restaurant performance via data analysis and industry knowledge to maximize order volume and growth.
  • Contributing to city growth through data analysis and problem solving to increase market share.
  • Negotiating contracts and partnership terms.
  • Collaborating with national restaurant and rider operations teams to improve local operations.
  • Launching marketing campaigns to accelerate growth in restaurants and zones.
  • Innovating and presenting new ideas to enhance Deliveroo’s growth in your zones and across the UK.
  • Working with your manager to develop and execute growth strategies for your cities.
  • Becoming a local expert in your zones, understanding the restaurant industry thoroughly, and representing Deliveroo to industry stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience in account management, commercial, or growth teams.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, both face-to-face and via phone or email.
  • Strong commercial acumen and foundational data analysis skills.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Self-motivated, organized, proactive, and problem-solving abilities.
