The Team

The U.K. & Ireland are our domestic and most mature markets. Functions include commercial, operations, and marketing. Teams in the UK&I partner closely with global functions such as product, technology, and consumer to deliver results for our customers.

The Regional UK and Ireland team is responsible for driving Deliveroo’s performance across all four nations of UKI. From Brighton to Belfast, we are experts in the local markets we serve. As part of this team, you will be signing up the best restaurants in your city/region. The Role

We are seeking an Account Manager for our Greater London, Commuter Belt South team. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing tech company. You’ll liaise with highly regarded restaurants in South East England, cultivating relationships and helping increase their online sales. This role is ideal for a outgoing, relationship-oriented individual.

Please note: A valid driving license and a car are required, as travel to areas like Milton Keynes, Canterbury, and Chelmsford is expected.

This role involves significant travel and outdoor work, so comfort with being on the road is essential.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintaining and growing relationships with restaurant partners through strong communication, both face-to-face and remotely
  • Driving restaurant performance using data analysis and industry knowledge to maximize order volume and growth
  • Negotiating contracts and partnership terms
  • Collaborating with restaurant and rider operations teams to improve efficiencies
  • Working with marketing teams to accelerate order growth
  • Innovating and presenting new ideas for growth and efficiency
  • Becoming a local expert for your cities, knowing the restaurant industry inside out, and representing Deliveroo to partners

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in account or relationship management
  • Strong communication skills, both face-to-face and via phone/email
  • Commercial acumen and data literacy
  • Results-driven with a track record of achieving targets and successful negotiations
  • Experience in a high-growth, dynamic environment is preferred
  • Self-motivated, organized, and hardworking
  • Ability to work independently while meeting restaurant partners across South England
  • Additional language skills (e.g., Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Swahili, Mandarin, Cantonese, Urdu, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, Bahasa/Malay) are a plus
