Job description

Are you passionate about building strong client relationships and driving business growth?

If you are a motivated, friendly, professional individual who has experience in Account Management, Customer Service, or Sales Administration, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our growing team.

If successful, you will play a key role within our Existing Business department, working with the Account Managers to deliver a consistent, reliable service for our clients.

This role is in-person, based in our Plymouth offices, with no current travel requirement.

With offices based in the ocean city of Plymouth, Protective Wear Supplies (PWS) provides safety and workwear to thousands of customers across the UK. PWS has also developed a growing range of own brand products which aim to be industry disrupters in their market.

How we will support you:

At PWS, our managers and supervisors actively work with their team to ensure every member feels supported and valued through dedicated and regular performance and development reviews. Your typical day will look like:
  • Operating within our methodology and working closely with your manager to develop new strategies, including suggesting new products and improvements.
  • Identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products or services.
  • Identifying significant opportunities within sectors.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with all clients and influencers.
  • Managing calls, emails, meeting notes, contacts, and important details through our HubSpot CRM.
  • Demonstrating PWS’ sector-specific knowledge and insights.
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing team to create innovative and relevant content to generate qualified leads.
  • Driving overall sales and gross profit (GP) growth.
  • Attending customer onboarding and contract management meetings via Teams (no current travel requirement).
You will have:
  • Proven experience in an Account Management or similar Sales/Customer Service role.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to understand and articulate product features and benefits.
  • Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM.
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, SharePoint and Excel.
  • Experience using Sales-i or similar.
