Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join as a Junior Account Manager. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to develop a career in account management. Responsibilities include sales administration and active participation in client meetings (on-site).

1. Assist the National Account Manager with all aspects of account management, handling large national accounts in retail, hospitality, gyms, office space, and small businesses across sectors.
2. Conduct research and prepare presentations.
3. Support sales pitches.
4. Meet customers regularly, both independently and with the NAM.
5. Solve problems, answer queries, and identify up-sell or new revenue opportunities.
6. Analyze market data, current accounts, market share, profit, growth, and retention.
7. Handle all aspects of B2B customer service.
8. Support order processing.
9. Send samples to customers.
10. Monitor expiring contracts and collaborate with sales to renew or extend them.
11. Manage all sales administration tasks.

The Successful Candidate

• Ability to visit clients independently or with an Account Manager.
• Experience in retail or hospitality is preferred; otherwise, demonstrate strong customer-centric skills.
• Excellent communication skills, confident in phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
• Driving license is preferred, as the role involves regular client visits.
• Flexible with working hours, willing to work over weekends if needed, demonstrating a proactive attitude.

Salary and Benefits

Salary of approximately £28,000 - £32,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
