WAGE RANGE: Reg. $25.52– $29.16

REQUIREMENTS

  • Community College Diploma in Social Services or University Degree in Social Sciences; related experience preferred. Will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to CLNH Mission, Vision, and values.
  • Ability to facilitate and support Person-Centered Planning and Daily Activity Schedules.
  • Effective communication skills with families.
  • Comfort working in a video-monitored home environment.
  • Knowledge and experience supporting individuals with Autism, Dual Diagnosis, or Mental Health disorders.
  • Ability to support individuals in daily physical activities; this position requires highly active individuals comfortable with activities such as swimming, hiking, and gymnastics.
  • Willingness and ability to drive agency vehicles.
  • Experience and flexibility in supporting individuals with challenging behaviors, including techniques from Safe Management and NVCI.
  • Commitment to implementing communication and behavioral support plans.
  • Experience with Core Competencies.
  • Dedication to involving individuals in their communities.
  • Flexibility to work across different areas within the organization.
  • Must hold a valid Ontario Driver’s License and provide proof upon employment.

HOURS OF WORK: Shifts may vary depending on the schedule needs of the individuals supported.
