Job summary

Agincare is seeking an Activities Coordinator for Admiralty care home to bring energy and imagination to residents’ daily lives. You will design and run engaging activities, games, quizzes, crafts and one-to-one moments, ensuring everyone can participate and enjoy meaningful interactions.

The role supports movement and social outings, with events like BBQs and parties, while welcoming entertainers and local collaborators to enrich activities.

Qualifications

• A warm, creative, people-focused personality.
• Availability to commit to 21 hours per week including some alternative weekends.
• Background in care, with experience planning and delivering activities and social engagement would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Bring energy, creativity and joy into residents' daily life.
• Plan engaging activities, games, quizzes, crafts and one-to-one moments.
• Organise events like BBQs and Christmas parties.
• Arrange visits from entertainers and local businesses.
• Support movement and independence through fun physical activities.
• Lead social outings and in-home activities for all abilities.
