Salary: £27,300 - £37,300 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Contract type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract - Part-time, 14 hours per week

Job Introduction
You'll be involved in all aspects of multimedia journalism including script writing, packaging and compiling TV bulletins. You'll be at ease writing sports, business stories, cutting headlines or making Graphics.
You must have plenty of energy, flexibility and enthusiasm and be able to work with people from different backgrounds in a multilingual environment.
Above all, you must be an outstanding TV journalist, and be able to produce accurate, informed and interesting news and programming under tight deadlines and to the highest possible standards. The role also requires first class communication skills and knowledge of World Service Language output, audiences and formats as well as a proven understanding of international, regional and Afghan affairs.
The successful candidate will work in a team led by the Pashto TV editor and senior producers. On a daily basis, you will work closely with online and radio colleagues.
