Given the scale and strategic importance of the programme our existing Chief Medical Officer will be seconded on a phased basis to provide executive clinical leadership. This has created a great opportunity for an aspiring Chief Medical Officer to join our Board.
The role will follow a phased increase in hours and accountability: 0.4 WTE from January to June 2027, focused on operational and internal medical leadership; 0.6 WTE from June to December 2027, with enhanced delegation for quality, workforce and governance; and 0.8 WTE from January 2028, progressively assuming strategic, Board, statutory and external responsibilities
