Job summary

Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Joint Chief Finance Officer ahead of planned organisational integration. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the postholder will provide Board-level leadership across finance, digital and information, and procurement, and lead development of a joint financial strategy.

The role includes financial recovery, efficiency, long-term sustainability, transformation and system partnership working.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with substantial board-level leadership experience.
• Experience delivering strategic finance, transformation and complex stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of NHS financial regimes, governance and information risk policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide board-level leadership across finance, digital and information, and procurement.
