Joinery Shop Supervisor – Temp to Perm Opportunity!

Location: South Birmingham

Salary: £14.50 - £15.25 per hour

Pertemps is recruiting for a leading joinery and woodworking company specializing in high-quality custom doors, cabinetry, and architectural woodwork. We are seeking a skilled Joinery Shop Supervisor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate joinery shop personnel to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Plan and schedule work to meet production targets.
• Monitor quality control throughout production.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance.
• Ensure health and safety compliance.
• Manage inventory and materials procurement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Joinery Shop Supervisor or similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of joinery techniques, tools, and materials.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
