Job Title: Working Site/Workshop Foreman

Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Working Site/Workshop Foreman who will report directly to the Joinery Manager. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of building processes and will be responsible for all works from site setup to finishing. You should have experience managing projects from start to completion, be willing to be hands-on, and demonstrate strong man-management and motivational skills.

Responsibilities:
  1. Willing to work on tools as required
  2. Ensure all plant, tools, and equipment are in good working order
  3. Order materials
  4. Support site operatives to meet project programmes
  5. Attend site meetings as needed
  6. Ensure completion of daily tasks
  7. Review operatives' competencies
  8. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of operatives
  9. Perform any other reasonable requests as directed by management
  10. Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures
  11. Promote safe working practices among employees and subcontractors
Requirements:

The candidate should have bench joinery skills or experience, combined with management ability to assist in the workshop and with site installation. A valid driving license is essential. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a foreman, with a background in joinery, and have come from a tools-based role to fully understand the process. A consistent employment record is required.
