Job description

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council’s Responsive Repairs Team is recruiting, and we are look for people to join our Team to help us achieve our ambitions.

Our aim is to ensure that we continue to meet our overall corporate aim of “Building a Better Borough” for people to live in, visit and work in.

We currently have the following permanent role available:

Joiner - £28,624 Per annum + Tools allowance.

These roles will also have the opportunity following a successful probation period to be recognised for skills in other trades. This could attract an additional £2,653 per annum.

Working 37 hours per week, these roles will assist in the provision of high quality and comprehensive Repairs Service for our customers. You will be a key member of this essential team providing day to day maintenance repairs in tenanted and void properties.

Hours worked across Monday to Thursday are 8am – 4pm and Friday’s 8am – 3.30pm.

We are looking for people who can complete all works requested to a consistently high standard and at an appropriate speed. Using their own specialist knowledge and experience to establish and maintain best practice in areas of work undertaken by the Responsive Repairs service.

All roles will be entitled to a generous annual leave entitlement. Our employees receive 25 days annual leave, rising to 30 days after 5 years continuous service. Plus, bank holidays.
