• Carrying out second fix joinery including skirting, architraves, door hanging, and trims.
• Fitting counters, seating units, panels, partitions, and timber structures as per spec.
• Supporting the fit-out of commercial kitchens, dining areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Ensuring all work is finished to a high commercial standard.

Rate: £23.00 per hour
Start Date: Immediate Start

Job Overview:

We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Joiner to join a fast-paced refurbishment project in Newcastle. This is a great opportunity for joiners experienced in commercial fit-outs or refurbs, with immediate work available.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out second fix joinery including skirting, architraves, door hanging, and trims

• Installing IPS units

Fitting counters, seating units, panels, partitions, and timber structures as per spec

Supporting the fit-out of commercial kitchens, dining areas, and back-of-house spaces

Reading and working from detailed drawings or site instructions

Ensuring all work is finished to a high commercial standard

Collaborating with other trades to meet project deadlines

Maintaining a clean and safe working area in line with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Joiner on commercial refurb or fit-out projects

Valid CSCS Card

Own tools and full PPE

Ability to interpret construction drawings and work unsupervised

Strong attention to detail and reliability

Flexibility to work to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment
