The Vacancy

Here at Wates, we have an opportunity for a Multi Trader/Joiner to join our Living Space team in the West Lancashire area. As a Multi Trader/Joiner, you will be working on our responsive maintenance contracts for an existing social housing provider.

The primary focus of this role is to undertake all tasks to achieve first-time fix, deliver high standards of workmanship in a timely and productive manner, and provide excellent customer service to the client.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Undertake repair/renewal works across various trades, identifying when other trades are needed.
  2. Advise the Supervisor promptly when other trades are required.
  3. Collaborate with other operatives to complete projects.
  4. Complete daily worksheets detailing work undertaken and materials used.
  5. Work efficiently to complete projects on time.
  6. Provide excellent customer service to client representatives.
  7. Work in accordance with Wates Health & Safety Professional Standards, including the company's safeguarding policy towards children and vulnerable adults.

Qualifications required include a minimum of NVQ Level 2, a valid driving license, and relevant experience in a joinery setting.
