Due to continued success at Fortem, we are seeking a Joiner Multi to join our new contract in Manchester.

The Project

This role involves carrying out planned Carpentry/Joinery maintenance on properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard with minimal supervision. A multi-skilled Carpenter should ideally cover most aspects of property maintenance, enabling you to complete all parts of a job rather than just your core trade.

You will take ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs while remaining within budget and time constraints. You will operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and stay updated with the technical and legal requirements of your skills. Typical tasks include day-to-day repairs/maintenance, renewal, or refurbishment works to properties.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

• Essential Criteria:
• C&G Craft/Advanced Craft
• Certificate in Carpentry & Joinery or NVQ 2 in Carpentry & Joinery/Wood Occupations or equivalent
• Full UK Driving License

• Desirable Qualifications:
• CSCS H&S Operative Test
• Certificate + CSCS Blue Card
• Experience in a Responsive Repairs role
