Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd are recruiting a Joiner Multi Trade to work across the Warrington area for a well-established social housing contractor. The role involves joinery, repairs and maintenance within void properties and requires a broad multi-trade skill set.

You will travel between properties, carry out carpentry tasks and related trades, and contribute to high-quality workmanship. A full UK driving licence is preferred and DBS checks may be required in the future.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing repairs, property maintenance or similar environment.
• Strong joinery/carpentry skills and broad multi-trade background.
• Experience in plastering, tiling or decorating.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
• DBS check may be required in the future.
• No formal trade qualifications required; practical experience is key.

Responsibilities

• Carry out joinery, repairs and maintenance works within void properties.
• Complete carpentry and general multi-trade works.
• Undertake additional trades including patch plastering, tiling and decorating where skilled.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs to a high standard with a right-first-time approach.
• Work professionally within properties and maintain high workmanship standards.
• Manage workload and complete jobs efficiently throughout the day.
• Ensure company vehicles, tools and equipment are used responsibly.

Joiner Multi Trade We are currently looking for a Joiner Multi Trade to work across the Warrington area for a well-established social housing contractor.

This opportunity is with an established contractor delivering high-volume voids and maintenance works within social housing properties. We're looking for experienced Joiner Multi Trades who are looking for a long-term temporary opportunity.

I'd be keen to speak to anyone with experience working within social housing repairs, property maintenance, refurbishment or voids, whether you've previously worked as a Joiner Multi Trade, Carpenter Multi Trade, Multi Trade Operative, Maintenance Operative, Repairs Operative or in a similar role.

As a Joiner Multi Trade, you will be:

• Carrying out joinery, repairs and maintenance works within void properties
• Completing carpentry and general multi-trade works
• Undertaking additional trades including patch plastering, tiling and decorating where skilled
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to a high standard with a right-first-time approach
• Working professionally within properties and maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Managing your own workload and completing jobs efficiently throughout the day
• Ensuring company vehicles, tools and equipment are used responsibly
• Completing accurate electronic paperwork and following company health and safety procedures

• Proven experience working within social housing repairs, property maintenance or a similar environment
• Strong joinery/carpentry skills and a broad multi-trade background
• Experience in additional trades such as plastering, tiling or decorating
• The ability to work independently and complete high-quality workmanship

• The ability to pass a DBS check if required in the future

This Joiner Multi Trade role is offering the following benefits:

• £21 per hour
• Company van and fuel card
• Weekly pay
• 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location & Travel

The role covers work between Manchester and Liverpool. Candidates will be expected to travel between properties throughout the day, with a company vehicle and fuel card provided.
