Job summary

Thorn Baker Group is seeking an experienced Joiner for a live project in Burn Bridge, Harrogate. You will carry out general joinery, fit doors and architraves, and contribute to both first and second fix work with accuracy and pride in workmanship.

You should have solid joinery skills, a good work ethic, and the ability to follow drawings and site instructions. A CSCS card and own tools are preferred to start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a joiner on construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret site drawings and plans.
• Valid CSCS card where required by site.
• Own tools suitable for joinery tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general joinery on site and complete first fix and second fix tasks.
• Measure, cut and install doors, frames, skirting boards and architraves.
• Read site instructions and drawings and use hand and power tools safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and work with other trades.
• Follow health and safety procedures on site.

JOINER REQUIRED – Burn Bridge, Harrogate

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Joiner for a construction project based in Burn Bridge , Harrogate.

We are looking for someone with good practical joinery skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to complete work to a high standard.

JOB DETAILS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carrying out general joinery work on site
• Completing first fix and second fix joinery as required
• Measuring, cutting and fitting timber and other materials accurately
• Installing doors, door frames, skirting boards and architraves
• Fitting and securing timber components
• Making adjustments and carrying out finishing work where required
• Reading and following site instructions and technical drawings where necessary
• Using hand tools and power tools safely and correctly
• Working alongside other trades to ensure the project runs smoothly
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised work area
• Following all site health and safety procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience working as a Joiner
• Good knowledge of general construction joinery
• Valid CSCS card, where required by the site
• Own tools suitable for the work
• Full PPE
• Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
• Available to confirm a start date once the project details are finalised
