Job Description – Joiner (Shop fit out)

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Joiner to carry out a shop fit out on a live project in South Birmingham. This role is ideal for someone with strong 2nd fix experience and attention to detail.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Joiner (Shop fit out)

• Pay Rate: £23.00 per hour (CIS)

• Location: Birmingham B37

• Start Date: ASAP

• Card Requirement: CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card essential

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carrying out 2nd fix joinery including doors, skirting, architraves, and bespoke fittings

• Reading and working from shop drawings and fit-out specifications

• Installing counters, panels, trims, and fixtures to a high standard

• Working with a range of materials including MDF, hardwoods, and laminates

• Ensuring a clean and accurate finish throughout all joinery work

• Maintaining a tidy workspace and following site safety regulations

Requirements:

Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card – essential

Proven experience fitting fire doors to a high standard

Own tools and full PPE

Knowledge of fire safety regulations relating to door installation

Attention to detail and ability to work independently
