Job description

Job Title: Joiner/Carpenter – Strip out
Location: Banbury
Rate: £25.00/£26.00 per hour
Start Date: Immediate start (Today 2/3pm)

Job duties

• Dismantle and remove existing timber fixtures such as counters, partitions, panelling, shelving, and display units in a safe and controlled manner

• Carefully strip out doors, frames, skirting boards, flooring, and architraves without damaging surrounding structures or services

• Identify and preserve reusable materials or components as per project instructions

• Use appropriate hand and power tools (e.g., reciprocating saws, crowbars, drills, impact drivers) to carry out dismantling work efficiently and safely

• Assist in temporary boarding up and securing areas post-strip-out where needed

• Support other trades during the demolition phase, including minor structural removals and preparation for new installations

• Adhere strictly to health & safety protocols, especially when working near live services (electrical, alarm systems, IT infrastructure)

• Maintain clear, organised work areas and remove waste materials to designated skips or holding zone
