Job summary

Search Consultancy requires a Joiner for an immediate start in Warrington. The role covers first and second fix joinery on commercial and construction projects in the North West.

You will read technical drawings, install doors and fixtures, and work to tight timescales while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship. Candidates must have proven site joiner or carpenter experience, a valid CSCS card, and own tools & PPE.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first and second fix joinery.
• Install doors, frames, skirting, architraves, and ironmongery.
• Fit kitchens and timber components; read drawings and site plans.
• Work safely and to project timescales; maintain a clean site.
• Coordinate with site management and other trades; follow safety procedures.

Job description

Joiner required for Immediate Start in Warrington

Working with one of the UK's largest and most reputable main contractors on a range of commercial and construction projects across the North West.

Usual site working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of first and second fix joinery
• Installing doors, frames, skirting, architraves, and ironmongery
• Fitting kitchens, internal fixtures, and timber components
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and site plans
• Measuring, cutting, and fitting timber and sheet materials to a high standard
• Ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and within project timescales
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Working collaboratively with site management and other trades
• Adhering to all site health and safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

• Proven experience as a site joiner or carpenter
• Valid CSCS card
• Own tools and PPE
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanshipReliable with a strong work ethic
