Job summary

EMS Healthcare Ltd is seeking a skilled joiner to support ongoing program work on truck and trailer fleet interiors and exteriors. You will work with other trades in a supportive role, performing first and second fix joinery and related fit-out tasks.

The role requires time-served joinery, site safety awareness, and the ability to read technical drawings. You will also install ceilings and various external walkways, contributing to high-quality deployments across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Time served joiner with carpentry background.
• Understand site safety requirements.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proven problem-solving ability.
• Trained in the use of power tools.
• Trained in the use of cutting room joinery machinery.

Responsibilities

• Support other trades in a joinery role across fittings.
• Carry out general first and second fix joinery tasks.
• Insulate and build internal wall structures on new builds.
• Order materials for builds from technical drawings.
• Paint and maintain chassis, wheels, and related kit.
• Paint doors and doorframes, woodwork.
• Install suspended ceilings.
• Install Dibond walkways and external walkways.

Job description

Reporting totheFleetReadinessManager,this role is to support the ongoing program of re-fits, repairs and refurbishment of our truck and trailer fleet interiors and exteriors.

Main Duties

• Responsibilities include working withothertrades in a supporting role, carrying out general first fix joineryand second fix joinery.

• Insulating and building the internal wall construction on new builds.

• Ordering materials for builds fromtechnicaldrawings.

• Painting andmaintainingthe chassis,wheels,and associated kit for deployments.

• Painting doors,doorframes,woodwork.

• Installation of suspended ceilings.

• Installation of Dibond walkways and external walkways.

Experience- Essential

• Time served joiner.

• Understand sitesafety.

• Ability to work with in a team environment.

• Proven ability to problemsolve.

• Trained in the use of power tools.

Experience – Preferable

• Ability to manage& delivermultiple tasks to a high standard on time.

Other Requirements

• Full UK residency and hold a valid driving license and have suitable transport provisions (public transport is not recommended due to location of offices)
