Are you a skilled and meticulous joiner looking for a short:term contract opportunity? Were seeking a dedicated professional to join our team on a commercial project in Newcastle. If youre proficient in detailed finishing work and can start promptly, we want to hear from you

The Role

As a key member of our finishing team, youll be responsible for crucial internal joinery tasks that ensure the high:quality completion of our commercial development. Your precision and efficiency will be vital. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Boxing:in: Precisely constructing and installing timber boxing to conceal pipework, cables, and other services.
  • Door Adjustments: Expertly adjusting and re:hanging internal doors to ensure perfect fit and smooth operation.
  • Door Fixtures: Changing and fitting new door furniture, ironmongery, and access control components.
  • Minor Repairs: Carrying out other minor joinery repairs and snagging as required to achieve a flawless finish.
  • Working efficiently and cleanly within a busy commercial environment.
  • Strictly adhering to all site health and safety regulations and quality standards.

Role Requirements

We need a candidate who is:

  • Experienced: Proven experience as a Joiner, with a strong background in internal finishing works on commercial or large:scale projects.
  • Certified: Must hold a valid CSCS card.
  • Detail:Oriented: Possesses an exceptional eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high:quality craftsmanship.
  • Proficient: Highly skilled in joinery tasks, particularly boxing:in, door adjustments, and fixture changes.
  • Reliable and Proactive: Punctual, highly motivated, and capable of working efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
