Job summary

Randstad CPE in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking an experienced Joiner to carry out maintenance, upgrades and refurbishment works at a dedicated site. You will work within a structured, secure team environment with consistent full-time hours and clear prospects for a permanent transition.

The role pays £22.00–£24.00 per hour (PAYE or CIS) for 40 hours, Monday to Friday, with one main site per day and long-term stability.

Qualifications

• Time-served joiner with CSCS card.
• Experience in commercial, public sector, or facility maintenance joinery.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, able to work around on-site staff and the public.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out high-standard general joinery maintenance, repairs, and installations.
• Fitting, repairing, and adjusting commercial doors, fire doors, frames, and ironmongery.
• Installing fitted furniture, cabinetry, shelving, and timber partitions.
• Completing both scheduled planned works and general day-to-day upkeep across facilities.
• Adhering strictly to health, safety, and site hygiene protocols at all times.

We are currently seeking experienced Joiners to join our clients team in Newcastle upon Tyne.

This role involves carrying out high-quality maintenance, upgrades, and refurbishment works. You will be based at one dedicated facility per day, working within a structured and secure team environment. This position offers consistent full-time hours, long-term stability, and the strong potential for a permanent transition into the workforce.

• £22.00 - £24.00 per hour (Depending on experience and payment route)
