We have a number of opportunities for qualified joiners to join us within our busy Voids and Repair & Maintenance teams.

If you are self-motivated, time served and capable of working alone as well as part of a multi-skilled team this is an opportunity for you to commence a career with a Council you can be proud to work for.

Primarily working indoors within our Repairs & Maintenance team, you will be provided with a van for work purposes.

Reporting to a Repairs & Construction Manager, you will be expected to work on a variety of properties and schemes including minor refurbishments ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations, practices and standards.

Typically, you will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of joinery tasks including repair, removal and replacement of a wide range of timber, plastic and composite products, both internal and external including the fitting, removal and re-hanging of internal, external doors, windows, kitchen base units, worktops and wall cupboards.
