Job summary

TipTopJob in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Time-served Joiner to carry out high-standard joinery maintenance, repairs, and installations on a dedicated site. The role offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with strong prospects for a permanent position.

Based at one main facility per day, you will work within a structured team, following health and safety protocols and delivering quality workmanship in a long-term position.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-standard general joinery maintenance, repairs, and installations.
• Fit, repair, and adjust commercial doors, fire doors, frames, and ironmongery.
• Install fitted furniture, cabinetry, shelving, and timber partitions.
• Complete scheduled planned works and general day-to-day upkeep across facilities.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and site hygiene protocols at all times.

Job description

We are currently seeking experienced Joiners to join our clients team in Newcastle upon Tyne.

This role involves carrying out high:quality maintenance, upgrades, and refurbishment works. You will be based at one dedicated facility per day, working within a structured and secure team environment. This position offers consistent full:time hours, long:term stability, and the strong potential for a permanent transition into the workforce.

Package and Benefits

• GBP22.00 : GBP24.00 per hour (Depending on experience and payment route)
• Flexible options available including PAYE or CIS
• Excellent long:term prospects with a view to moving into a permanent position
• Steady, full:time hours based on one main site per day
• 40 hours, Monday to Friday

Key Duties

• Carrying out high:standard general joinery maintenance, repairs, and installations.
