Job description

Are you looking for a joinery role? Interested in working for a leading Construction Company on a recently won long-term response maintenance contract? Nicor is recruiting a joiner to work on an ongoing Health Estates Contract for a large health trust based in Newtownards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide a high-quality service to customers in health settings, whether premises are occupied or vacant.
2. Ensure additional work is captured and communicated to the relevant person, using the company PDA system for invoicing.
3. Meet allocated timeframes and target dates for jobs.
4. Maintain compliance with materials and workmanship schedules.
5. Care for all company tools and use appropriate safety equipment.
6. Leave work areas clean, tidy, and safe.
7. Manage the company van responsibly according to policy.
8. Liaise with clients, consultants, contract administrators, and head office.
9. Ensure timely and accurate completion of site documentation.
10. Assist in training apprentices as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Holds a Level 3 NVQ in a relevant trade or equivalent.
2. Has previous trades experience in a similar role.
3. Possesses up-to-date industry knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety legislation.
4. Holds a valid, full UK driving license and a CSR Card.
5. Has experience working within the Construction Industry, preferably in the Health Sector.
