Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is seeking a Joiner based in North West Northern Ireland for a permanent full-time role. You will construct and install wooden frameworks, fit and repair wooden structures, and measure materials using tools. The position offers a competitive salary of up to £31,200 annually, alongside a van, fuel card, and various benefits including a pension scheme and 24 days annual leave plus public holidays.

Applicants should have NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry and Joinery, a valid CSCS card, and experience in joinery work.

Overview

EQUANS are recruiting for a Joiner to be based in North West Northern Ireland. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of up to £31,200 per annum, plus a van and fuel card and a benefits package.

Key Accountabilities
  • Participation in standby and out of hours work is a requirement of this role.
  • Construct and install wooden frameworks, including walls, floors, and door frames.
  • Fit and repair wooden structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, and skirting boards.
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand and power tools.
  • Assemble furniture, cabinets, and other wooden items as required.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair work on existing wooden structures.
  • Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Keep tools and equipment in good working order and follow company safety procedures.
  • Any other reasonable management request.

Qualifications
