Job summary

Mivan is a dynamic joinery and interior fit-out contractor based in Antrim. We are recruiting a joiner responsible for producing high quality, bespoke joinery using a range of materials and a variety of hand and machined tools, and for interpreting CAD drawings.

You will ensure quality workmanship, meet delivery dates, maintain safety and housekeeping, and support the team with a can-do attitude to achieve excellent results in a busy workshop.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years post-apprenticeship experience in high quality carpentry and joinery.
• Ability to read and interpret workshop and CAD drawings.
• Experience using woodworking machines.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality, bespoke joinery products using various materials and tools.
• Interpret and read workshop and CAD drawings.
• Ensure quality standards are met and deliveries are on time.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in the workshop.
• Carry out other duties within scope as required.

We are currently recruiting a joiner, you will be responsible for producing high quality, bespoke joinery products using a range of materials and various hand and mechanised tools.

• Producing high quality, bespoke joinery products using a range of materials and various hand and mechanised tools
• Interpreting and reading workshop/design and CAD drawings.
• Ensuring quality standards are met and maintained.
• Ensuing delivery dates for all items produced are met and maintained.
• Adherence to all relevant environmental and health & safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintaining good housekeeping and ensuring all tasks are completed in a safe and responsible manner.
• Any other duties within the Job Holder's sphere of knowledge, experience or competency as requested.
• At least 3 years post apprenticeship experience of high quality carpentry and joinery.
• Ability to interpret and read workshop/design and CAD drawings
• Experienced in the use of wood working machines
• Ability to set up work pieces and tools.
• Process work effectively and produce quality workmanship
